Default Car will not move with clutch pedal depressed

hello everyone, i have a 99 Si,
Car was making a knocking noise, 'clunk clunk' noise.

Now it will not move in gear... If i rev it up and dump the clutch it will move and jerk off and stop.

With the pedal depressed, it will not roll back or forward.
Tranny Gurus, Your input please.

heres a easy way to tell if you have a broke or popped out axle. put the car in gear. and if the speedo move and your not. then its more than likely out.

what were you doing before the car stopped moving? beating on it? im going to vote on a blown tranny

Not to sound like a wiseass, but the car wont move with your foot on the clutch pedal.

will it move (push) with the car in nuetral? if yes than it is in your clutch, if no than you have a diff problem....when you say wont move, I assume pushing right? people post alot of stupid questions, thats why I gotta clarify
