did the mpfi swap. had a code 4 with the limp mode problem, got that fixed, now i got a code 14

when it at idle, it runs mint, when i rev it, sound good to, but when i rev it and then keep my foot on a steady rpm, lets say 3000 rpm, it idles up and down up and down, kinda like a rev limiter but i decide what rpm lol

car = 91 civic dx
engine= d16a6 from a 91 crx
ecu = pm6

Make sure you did the wiring to the iacv right or if its even plugged in. Also take it out and clean it to make sure thats not what it is.

 

where would the iacv be located ? is it the one with 2 hoses under it ?

 

Yeah thats the one. It's in the rear of the manifold near the throttle body

 

alright, ill try it tomorrow, but i seriously think its something electrical, i have a diagram of the pins of the ecu, put cant find the iacv. does anybody know witch pins it is. so i can just deepin it and make my own to find out if its the wires or not.
