HELP! Putting a new motor in.
I have a 90 Civic SI. I just recently got. I have a d16a6 block with a vtec head. I was wondering what parts were needed to put it in. Do I need to get a different harness for the motor? Any help anyone!!!!

D16A6 so you are using your stock block?
which VTEC head?

im using a z6 head. I heard I would be able to use a crx si harness. Im not sure if it will work though. If anyone has some insight, please shine in. Thanks.
you utilize your stock harness. then get a obd0 to obd1 conversion harness and run the subharness into the engine bay to connect to the sensors that the z6 head has, which the stock a6 did not have. then get yourself a stock p28 ecu.
i was going to link you to the 2 links in the faq section about doing a mini-me swap but neither of them seem to be working..

if you are swapping to a z6 head i'd highly support you going to obd1.
