oil/grease residue burning off exhaust
How long should this take? I just put my 3rd ED back together with a D15B7 (this is a 91 DX sedan) and there is still a bit of smoke that rises up through the engine bay.
It's not very thick so I can't see a color to it, but the car has probably been running 20-30 mins or so (just idling in the driveway...it's not registered or insured so I haven't taken it around the block 3-4 times *wink* )
How long should any grease/oil/etc that may have been wiped on the exhaust take to burn off?
Motor is running fine (started right up within the first 3 seconds of cranking when everything was back together), no smoke from the tailpipe... in fact the muffler drips water once everything is warmed up.
My only other theory was that maybe there is a tiny coolant leak on the back of the block but I've been checking the radiator - it's not going down...and there are no drips on the driveway at all.

oh ok thanks man
I wasn't sure if having stuff burn off for 20+ minutes was ok or not. It's got half a tank of 6-month-old gas so I'll go let it idle while I fix this other car I've got.
