i have an 88 crx with a b16a.. after starting it idles at 3,000 rpms and the check engine light is sayin code 4 .. map sensor, i replaced it with a good map sensor and still having the same problems... also when i go to accelerate it bogs out and looses any and all power. i really want to get this thing running asap so any help would be great, thanks

 

Are you sure you have all your vacuum lines run to the proper ports. Are there any cracks in the vacuum lines?

 

no i do have vaccume leaks i need a pic or sumthin for where they go.. i have a usdm intake manifold and throttle body on my jdm b16.. please help

 

code 4 is not MAP sensor - it is the Crank circuit in the distributor - usually means you need a new distributor, unless it isn't wired up right - if this is a new swap and the code 4 has always been there, try switching the orange and white wires at the distributor and see if that fixes it - otherwise, you probably need a distributor

 

ok.. well this is the 2nd b16 in the crx.. with the first one the dizzy went bad and i got a brand new dizzy and about a month later i blew the motor. well swapped another b16 in it and drove fine for about 2 months then blew a fuel line started bogging out.. it is a brand new dizzy and i still have vaccume leaks out the *** (so still any pic or help with vaccume hose placements would be good). please help .. trying to get this thing running good.

 

This is all that i can find, its for the 90 integra with a b18a1, but it might get you closer. My b16 is sitting on my garage floor or else i would take some pics of that.
