Default OT: Had to do it, had to get rid of it :(

The Titan that is! LOL Hype R ain't going nowhere (yet). Anyways the Titan had around 50k miles and was starting to feel like it was gonna fall apart, little things were constantly going wrong. I loved the look of the truck and the power but that was about all. I definitely won't miss 13-14mpg and $100 fillups (on freakin regular!).

So I started looking around for something new. Had to be four door (baby on the way), had to have a bed (gotta haul the bike) and 4wd wouldn't hurt (maybe it'll snow this year). Well after owning something other than a Honda it really makes you wanna get back to a Honda, started checking and they had some pretty awesome deals on the Ridgeline so here we are Had it two weeks today and I love it. It drives like a lot like our CRV (very carlike), has a lot of room and lots of neat features. That and on my first two tanks I got 21 and 20mpg

It's funny I drove one a couple years ago and remember thinking it wasn't really a truck and it wasn't really a car so what's the point? Well after driving a real truck for a couple years and kinda moving on the next phase of life (man a baby on the way really changes your outlook on life) it makes perfect sense

Anyways here's a couple pics and sorry for the non-R related post. Just thought you guys might get a kick outta the new DD and figured Jack might wanna shed some tears over the passing of the Titan lol

love those things, i want one for myself

i think honda even has a mount kit for the bed for your dirtbike, goes in the front of the bed, and the front wheel goes into it, and then you use tie downs, if its not honda it looked like it was, i use to work for honda, and one came in with this and it looked great, held two bikes

edit

found this pic, apparently this one is honda, it looks different then the one i saw

Yeah the bike mount is definitely on my want list, you can actually mount it in three positions in the front of the bed. I woulda got it already if Honda woulda added some kinda iPod interface

Holyhell I was mad when I read the thread title and clicked it.

Thats awesome. You can get remaining 08 Ridgeline's for so cheap right now. I can't wait to get mine someday. The next pic I wanna see is the Ridge towing the R.

EDIT: WOOT!!! for the same number of posts as my caR's redline.

Peripheral makes an iPod adapter as well. Like you've got in the R.

Thanks for the comments guys, already took care of the iPod problem, got a JVC head deck with iPod hookup/controls for like $130 from Crutchfield.

Honda is offering great deals on the 08s, you can get a $3000 incentive and 2.9% financing for 60 months or a $4500 incentive if you finance on your own.

You got my number when you are ready to put a lift kit on that POS.

P.S. Sell the R, and I kill you in your sleep.
