Type R rear control arms are box in type for better strength. That setup still would work tho. but I would recommend to get the actually coil over to fit stock suspension.. cheers
ive got these, they do make them to fit dc2r with the "eye" fitting rear shock..
they are good enough for the price and go really low.
not bad but you need to run stiff dampers otherwise you might find them to be a tad bumpy.. im looking to upgrad soon if i keep the car.. but they are ok for the money

Since this hasn't been answered, I'l ask. What is your purpose? Just street cruising? AutoX? If you plan on AutoX or tracking this car I would want reliable information on the performance aspects of this suspension. If it is just for cruising then I would want to know to long term quality, resistance to rust, and how they perform at low ride heights(busted valves etc.)

none of which the D2s have a good track record with.

mine are going strong after 2 years, handfull of trackdays and many spirited runs down country roads, but yea they arnt the greatest.. were in the car brand new when i got it, will swap out soon, possibly in the next week
up in the North east those bastids will seize up. we just put a set in my friends car last month from his civic to his teg and the collars were seized. I've got 3-4year old Omni power sports and I like them, and ive got a set of PIC's in my R and love those. But I would stay away from the D2's

the R is for i guess you could say daily use. it is not tracked so i am looking for more cosmetic and comfort. maybe twice a year at the drag strip if that makes a difference.
Steer clear from D2/Functionform/Ksport, its all the same crap.
If you want a good reliable long lasting coilover with great adjustability Buddy Club N+ is a great choice, along with the others already suggested like PIC and koni/gc

It would help if you would back your statement with their use: street driven, autoX, HPDE/Track, etc. Otherwise its unclear.
