preparing for my turbo d16y8 build...goal is 200whp...just got my pipings done to 2.5in...from what i had before which was stock but had a greddy evo muffler...sounded perfect before i got it done not to loud not to quiet...now it is crazy loud and has a rasp noise to it...and to my question, will adding a resonator cause any restriction and make my 2.5in pipings a lil worthless?? thanks

 

a resonator is a straight through design, idk if it will cause you to lose power, but i would definately throw one on because it makes a hell of a difference sound wise...Without a resonator the car will sound shitty.

 

yea i just got a 22" resonator...sounds wayyy more better and aggressive now...just hope it doesnt really get restricted in there
