TICKING noise coming from lower timing belt?

TICKING noise coming from lower part of timing belt or cam?????
When the car is at an idle or full throttle, the car starts making a tick tick noise. Anybody know what that would be? its coming from the lower part of the timing belt or cam side. Should I be worried?
