Default AC RPM Drop

When I have my AC on my RPM's will drop all the way to 0 and the car sputters likes its going to die. Basically happens when I come to a stop and letting off the gas and the RPM drops all the way. When the AC is off the RPM's drop just below 1k as normal. Is this a bad alternator causing this?

So I am not alone. Yeah its a quick drop an sputter but comes back to rest just below 1k. Still drives normal. But there is a power loss. I did not think it would be this big.

It's normal, Having the a/c = no power. I hardly ever use mine.

The question is it normal for it to sputter and almost stall out...power loss with the AC on is normal and to be expected...

No its not normal for it to do that. Most likely culprits are worn or faulty spark plugs, dirty or faulty IAC valve or an AC compressor starting to fail and draging heavier than usual..
