Have you done any diagnosis? Is the battery fully charged? Is the starter engaging?

ok, does you motor even turn over?

if not check the starter as one of the wires may have come loose, as this happens alot on older civic.

I just looked up the relay your asking about. Thats for the cigarette lighter. I don't think thats your problem. Check the starter.

my 91 hatch is doing the exact same thing. It was running strong i put the complete msd system and it was fine then 2 days after i go to start it and it just clicks, its not turning over, not even trying to,battery is fully charged,i changed starters and it still does not work. the only way for my car to run is to pop start it and then it will run strong how it use to until i turn it off. as soon as i turn it off i try to start it and same thing. lemme know if you figure anything out please.

does you care actually have power though? IE dash lights come when the key is in the on position? Does the beeping noise from the seat belts sound weaker when you try starting it?

I'm with whoever is saying its a battery problem. They can check that at napa / autozone to. Or just try to jump your car and see if it starts and if it dies get a new batt or look for a draw.

If you said it keeps popping fuses then someone correct me if I am wrong you might have something grounded that isnt supposed to grounded. That causes the main link to pop and main link causes nothing to come on. that happened to me a few weekends ago

you might have burnt your ignition, get one from a junk yard, plug it in and turn to check

also, right a wire from the - of the starter and ground it out on the body , if it starts, then that means you burnt a starter wire some where, i've taking apart a whole si harness and dx harness, theres on 2 wires for the starter, 1 going to the battery, the other to the starter itself

well theres your problem then. goto honda a buy to pedal pads. they're $2.50 a piece. or you could just bypass the switch by unplugging the clip on the top one and jumping the connectors with a wire.

I agree with bonestock98gs I think its a grounding problem or possibly a ignition issue. : )

yeah you could have messed up your clutch sensor, if its not pressesed it wont let the car start

but check that ignition switch, and as for the relay, theres nothing wrong with it, mine also clicks

you just can't hear it when the motors starting.
but you can since its not even turning over.
