i have a 91 Cable B-series tranny


will a hydro clutch disc work with the tranny or will i need to get a cable one?

I think there is some confusion here:

90-91 b series gearboxes use a small spline mainshaft...uses a specific disk

92-93 cable, and 94-01 hydro all have a large mainshaft and use a different disk

Its the pressure plate that can be shared between both generatations
