Default 1998 honda accord rim question

i had a a 1995 honda civic ex for 2 years and i had 17" rims on it. i sold the car about a month ago and now i just got a 1998 honda accord 4 door lx. i have saved up money to buy some rims for the car but im not sure on the size. the 17"s on the civic, in my opinion were way to big, the rubbed the fenders. i dont know if 16" will look small and be a waist of money on the accord or if the 17"s will be to big. anyone have some help for me?

It depends on what size tire you get, 16s will look fine with alot of rubber, 18s with low-pros dont rub either

Yes. You will have too much of a fender gap. If you lower it, it will still look off. Not to mention that your speedometer and odometer will be way off.

Whatever you go with, make sure you get the tire size with the same overall diameter as the stock tires.

Yep, 17's with a 225/45/17 will give you a nice meaty tire, but not a very low profile, a bit like a 16's on a Civic.

18's with 225/40/18 are perfectly drivable IMO, giving a low profile look, while still retaining a decent amount of sidewall.

19's are quite hairy, and don't have much sidewall at all, but you can still squeeze a tire on there to match the stock tire height.

There are some who like to squeeze 20" wheels on 6th gen Accords, but that's the same kind of person that would put a 28" wheel on a hooptie.
