Default search function is now retarded, AC with b-series???

do to the new retarded way of searching, it doesnt make it easy to search for the EF AC b-series threads and nothing is covered in the FAQ section but would anybody know which treads would have a cheap way of mounting the stock AC compressor to a gsr motor in a CRX? i know of the haport kit but im looking for a cheaper method. 200 bucks for a piece of metal just doesnt appeal to me

del sol bracket wont fit the ef compressor....only 2 or 3 bolts will match up. i bought an innovative mount but you'll need a stock ef pulley to put on it. you'll need a slim fan for the condensor but other than that everything else will fit. i have a b16 in my ef with a/c.

I can confirm HCP made AC brackets for the b series powered crx using the Sanden AC compressor. The larger Futusu compressor will not fit.

The trouble might be finding the HCP mount. I looked for many months and finally found one at hmotorsports.com for $125. At that time, I was told it was the last one and that HCP wasn't making them anymore.

Look around, there may very well be some left second hand. Otherwise you'll be looking at fabricating something, which I am sure will be no small feat. Otherwise, get the expensive hasport one.
