Car wont start....
I have a question if anyone can help... My 2002 honda s2000 imobilzer keeps kicking in at random times. It first happened when i let my car sit for 2 weeks, it ran fine, then i had to go outta state for a field problem and training and came back a month later and had the same problem. Reset it and then a week later it did it again after sitting for just a couple of hours. I dont think it is the actual imoblizer system but actually it something between the ecu and imoblizer communitcating w/ each other... Any ideas on what the problem can be would be a great help. thanks alot
Is this happening when your driving, or is it when you first try to start the car..??
If its when u first start the car sometime if your battery dies it will mess with the immobi system and you will have to get your key reprogramed.
If its happening while your driving its not your immobilizer its probably an ignition switch. most people think its immobi related because the key light blinks when it shuts off but it does that when ever you turn the ign. switch off.
Start your car and shake your key and see if it will shut the car off.
