i want a large one, but not one so loud ill get pulled over by the cops lol. are most horn sort of universal? and how to i go about removing and installing one, does anyone have experience in this field?

My car has Hella Dual air horns. It's not rocket science. I mounted it inside the right front corner, behind the bumper. Mount the compressor, mount the trumpets, runs the air hose and wire it up from existing horn wiring. Not hard at all.

We are mounting an ahooga horn in my dads volkswagon this weekend, and my horn is starting to die a bit so ill look into those hella horns, they loud as hell?

 

I've heard, but not seen firsthand, that Ford horns from the Taurus, Ranger, Explorer, Aerostar, etc will plug directly in to Honda's. They are louder and a different tone. I'd love to find out if this is true.
