Default EK rear brace removal?

In the rear of my 97 coupe there are three braces that are right underneath the backseat that weigh around 50 pounds. Has anyone removed these and been ok? No chassis problems? No extra noises?

Pictures? I don't remember seeing any braces under the seat and I'm not at home to look right now.

The middle floor gusset are only on '97s and up. So I don't imagine there would be anything immediately wrong with removing them... but why remove them anyway?

96 civic dont have it, so i would imagine you would be fine without it. It was put there for side impacts.

They're not 50 pounds combined btw.

I just weighed some that I had sitting in the garage. They're 7 pounds apiece, three pieces, so 21 pounds total.
