Clear Bra - 3M Paint Protection Film
Anyone else have put on this product on their car? How long have you had it on your car and how has you experience been - any "yellowing" or peeling, etc??
I first had this installed on my 2006 Toyota Tacoma. A full front wrap - 18" hood, bumper, lights, door cups, and installer even put a small strip on the gate where I'd normally be putting my hands against the paint.
It's been great and after 2 years and 30K miles, my front end is in great shape - no "peppering" at all and the product still has a great gloss. The best part also is all the bugs just come right off of it when I'm washing.
I just bought a used 2005 Honda Accord. The front end is still in fairly good shape, so I invested the money to have it wrapped as well to keep it that way. I just had done yesterday, so it still needs time to really dry up and "shrink" on the car, but will let you know how it turns out. But so far, it's actually hid most of the minor "peppering" it already had.
Anyway ... I just wondered how many used this product on their car. of all my friends, I'm the only that pays to have it put on. One other guy has it, but his car came that way from the dealer.
I'd be curious too how much people are paying in the area that live in. I'm in Boulder County, Colorado, and for both full wraps, including a few extras that my installer throws in, I've been paying $600.
