**HELP-CAMSHAFT Decision**
iam buying cams for my R pretty soon here, and i would like to see what opinions everyone has on the matter, any one know anything about the skunk2 pro series over the skunk2 tuner series? i was leaning more towards the tuner series stage2 but iam unsure if its a good move? i will be upgrading springs and retainers and re-tuning as well.... AND also, will the skunk2 pro series springs and retainers also fit on the tuner series cams? some one is selling a pair of the pro springs/retainers at a really good price so thats why i ask
First...
what other supporting mods do you have?
Intake, Header, Exhaust? Anything else?
What about internals? Stock?
Without answers to those questions first, you cannot make a wise camshaft choice as you want it to complement what you already have... higher CR's usually are more aggresive cams.
Having owned both the S2S2's and S2P1's... the Pro series are pretty aggressive. As in it won't idle near stock (much more loby) and if your not upgrading internals I wouldn't go the Pro route.
Without knowing your setup, but presuming close to stock I would do a decent header/intake/exhaust first before looking into Camshafts.
You will also need to look into cam gears to get proper degree'ing of the engine/cams.

bad news bearer lol
your intake is fine, a cold air may make a few more HP but its worth having, buy a hytech header or a knock of one made by other compaines which makes identical power for half the price, if your like me I hate the ricer sound of exhaust on our 4 cylinder cars, so I would keep the stock axle back, your test pipe is good, maybe find out if theres a way to do a 2.5 inch exhaust and narrow it down to the stock axle back???
Look into RS-R exhaust, its a good exhuast with a pretty quite close to stock sound.
-again this is just my personal opinion

Other than the fact that it doesn't really produce any HP gains?
