***EG Door Panles Write Up to Change Color!****** LOTS OF PICS!
[b]First off this is my first write up and hope this can help people weather low on cash or want to make there car look good on a budget.
I always saw every one with their CTR doors and all and thought to myself "hmmm i want this!" and i researched on H-T of course and nothing came up! So i had 20 bucks and headed to Joanna's arts and crafts store.
And well here it is, This is what you will be needing:
*Phillips Screw Driver
*Flat head Screw Driver
*Wire hanger(or the Special tool)Who the F*ck buys it?
*Scissors
*Rubbing Alcohol
*1 & 1/4 yards Of Your Choice Of cloth( i got a Kitten Stretchable one for 6.99 a yard.)
*Pliers
*Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive(you have to be 18 Yrs or older to buy
)
*Razor
*Hot Glue Gun(Not Pictured)
*HGG Glue Sticks(Not Pictured)
*Work Cloth or Work Towles/Napkins
*Keys to listen to your radio in case your not in a garage!(gets Boring! lol)
*Table(If Working Out side)
* Midget Helper!! lol

Start off by taking out the screws From the circled areas.
First screw is behind top right of the open door handle.
Second One is All the way to the Right, Pretty easy and if you can you shouldnt try this
Third one is in the cup thing on the door.(if you guys know what it is let me know and ill update)

Fourth and the most difficult is the hook that holds the window handle. Grab the hanger and untwist it, the make a small hook at one end with the pliers.
Then insert and tray to fish it out. get it in and just yank and it'll come out.(DONT LOSE THIS!)

This is the piece.

After taking out the screws take off the door panel carefully. use flat head as needed.

Taken Out!
Now we have to take out the piece that holds the cloth.
Here is a video on how i did it. dont go too deep or else you'll go through,

After you have taken it off the fun part begins.
You'll end up with this

What you want to do is peel off the carpet thing slowly but make sure you get it all off.
So then you have this

AND
This.
Now Put the carpet were it belongs!
IN THE TRASH!

Now after you have done this to both PUT THE DOOR PANELS ASIDE AND PROCEED!
Ok you'll end up with this.

And now all you have to do is grab your rag and your MIDGET MAN!(no homo) And get to Wiping the off with the alcohol and prepping them with It to get rid of dust and any left over glue.(Should have sanded but hey i didn't want to waste gas going back into town lol)

After you are done with that. I have no pictures because my midget man abandon me! but ill write it out and descriptively as i can.
Step One: Set the Panel on the table
Step two: Grab you Cloth and throw it over it to cover it.
Step Three: Cut it out as a square shape with 2-3 inches extra.
Step Four: Shake Can and apply liberally to the surface. two quick coats.
Step Five: Spray a quick coat on the Fabric that's on the bottom side.
Step Six: apply the cloth to the Panel and make sure there is no bubbles and go around the whole thing! make sure it sticks!
NOTE: WASH YOUR HANDS YOU DONT WANT GREASE OR ANYTHING ELSE ON IT!!
AND DONT SPRAY TOO MUCH CAUSE IT'LL SINK THROUGH AND LOOK DARK!

It should come out like this!

Then take your razor and Cut the Holes out for the window handle and Cup thingy!
Now Whip out the HOT GLUE GUN

glue the excess Cloth on to the under side. like so...
They should End up like this.

Now To Put them back in i used Some plastic straw thing that was pretty strong and hot glued em to each other like so..

You can also try your own ways and post it up here and ill update it at the bottom.
After 20$ and a couple hours here is what you get and you tell me if its worth it. Ill get mounted pics tomorrow.

im gonna get **** for this but oh well here are mine i did earlier this winter. the door panel is b4 i did the window crank hole and tucked the back fabric. i used elmer's spray glue it worked great and was easy to work with

This thread is a few months old... however, to anyone that is planning on doing this: don't use hot glue to attach the inner panel back to your door panel if you live in a cold climate. I did this with my old EG and after closing the door a few times in the winter, the glue just gave up. I suppose it was too brittle to do it's job. If you live in a warm/hot climate where it won't dip below maybe 8 Celsius (or 40ish Fahrenheit) then you should be okay. You've been warned.
