hey i got a 00 civic and out of nowehre my clutch starts squeaking when i press all the way down and when i release off the clutch it squeeks again. i searched and they say u need to oil the ball joint or the clutch fork or something. i tried oiling up the ball joint with wd40 but still doenst fix the problemo. and i dunno where the clutch fork thing that ppl are talking is. so if sum1 has suggestions or can tell me where the clutch fork thing is, let me know. thanks

i had the same problem it pissed me off like crazy but then i just ignored it and it went away...............

 

please if any1 knows how to fix this let me know and tell me where it is. its driving me NUTS

It could be the throw out bearing.

 

I doubt its the fork, but to get to the fork look where the hydraulic line goes to on the front of your transmission, thats your slave cylinder. Underneath the boot that goes on to the transmission is where the fork is, I wouldn't spray wd40 on it, needs real grease (brake lube preferably).

i've had this issue since february and it seemed to go away, but its back now.

 

you need to use a thicker lub like axle grease and its a normal honda sound, everyone stop trying to freak this kid out.... "new clutch"

 

I have the same Problem AFTER i put a new centerforce clutch in my car ( yes i changed the throwout bearing and the flywheel one). i figure its because the clutch is heavier.

Grease up the slave cylinder and it will go away
Your clutch is fine

yupyup an annoying sound but a simple fix
