yes. f's and h's same thing, just different gearings. f's goes into h's, h's goes into f's.

my bad haha cuz i checked the FAQ's and couldn't find anything about it but the other thing is that will it matter what kind of f23 tranny it has to be like from what model

another question haha......which clutch would i have to use?.....mines a 95 but im going to put a block from a 96 motor and if that f23 tranny fits which one?

Whichever, I would keep it simple and stick with as much of the same stuff as possible.

So if you're using a 96 block just use a 94-97 clutch/flywheel combo with the 98+ f23 tranny

thanks guys....just trying to get the accord to beat other cars.....the tranny i have now is ok for a daily driver but will grind going into third in the high rpm's ...its an lx accord but swapping motor with rebuilt one and putting vtec head on it and just need tranny haha...

Yea but some of them have different mounts. They're not all super interchangeable.

From what I know,

90-93 DX/LX trannys are the same as 94-97s
92-93 EXs are the same as H22 trannys
I have no idea about anything beyond that.

I am pretty sure all axles are interchangeable as well. But u should stick with the axles on ur car when u do the swap.

Beyond that I dunno

i was thinking the same dang thing, then I thinked, maybe the dude wanted to do JUST A LITTLE better then the longggg as geared f22 and he'd have a spare f23 tranny

haha i just wanted and needed a tranny haha and i work at a junk yard so the f23 was the easiest one to find haha but i picked up an h23 so well see how that goes......will hopefully be put on sometime this coming week....
