Default CRX dies after starting :-(

First off, I have an 89 CRX Si with DOHC ZC swap.

My problem has to do with the engine dying after starting. At first it takes at least 2 tries to get it started, and once it finally gets going, the revs kick up to about 2000 rpm (to warm up), sputters a few seconds, the revs drop, then it dies. If I give it more throttle, it tries to stay running, but then will eventually die once the revs go down. If I keep my foot on the gas to keep the revs up, I can see the revs drop down, even though my foot is on the gas.

I recently replaced a dead fuel pump, but after that it ran fine.

These are the things I have already replaced or checked
-Main relay
-Fuel pump (it was dead)
-Adjusted the timing (it was retarted)
-Fixed leaking vacuum hose connected to intake manifold and throttle body
-New Spark Plugs and Wires
-Changed control module
-Check ignition coil
-Fuel Filter
-Fuel Pressure Regulator
-Fuel
-MAP, Coolant Temp, and Air Temp Sensors
-Adjusted idle and throttle cable tightness.

I know I have an exhaust leak and if I keep the car running long enough it will throw and O2 sensor code. I know the O2 sensor should be giving me this much trouble, so that cant be it.

Any suggestions guys?

Thanks,
Chaz

you might want to check the starter.

strange thing but i had a car that would die at stop lights (when i wasnt using any gas) and it turned out that goodyear installed a mid 90's accord cellinoid. dumbasses, that turned out to be the problem. its worth a shot at least. maybe go pick upa starter from a junk yard for like 10-20 bucks

edit: i raelly doubt it would be the o2 sensor unless it was REALLY REALLY bad! they usually just give u a rough idle.

I have a 96 accord that had a similar problem just not as severe. The car would die like yours but only on occasion and mostly only when it was really cold or hot. Turns out i had a bad temp sensor and needed a new o2 sensor. My car would bog if i tried to give it gas after a start so it wouldnt die and would stall out as soon as i'd try to leave my drive way.

So who knows maybe its your o2?
