DIY wheel painting, my 2 day project
Little history on the car, got it for free from my brother-in-law. There is no plans on fixing the car up anytime soon, I added little things here and there but thats it. I got bored and decided I wanted a color change on the rota slips. So here is my DIY wheel painting. Enjoy and let me know what you guys think.

did you flip them over and do the inside???? It really doesn't look like you did, something you might want to consider if you didn't. It would look terrible up close, to a car enthuisist anyway. they look good white tho

Nah you don't notice it. Its full of dirt on the inside anyway and only extremely **** people or people who show their cars would actually take the wheels off each time you wash them to clean the inside.

the car used to have an awful looking bodykit and z3 fenders, so I replaced with oem and rattle canned the bumper and fenders. I'm not gonna dump money into this car, I was bored and if it turns a different color later, I'll just respray another color.

I didnt bother spraying the inside, besides the overspray covered enough of it. And i dont plan on taking the car to any meets or anything.

post its? those are note cards. I think it would have been harder to use armorall cause you cant get close enough to the edges without getting amorall on the rims. with the note cards wedged in like that, i was able to spray all along the edges.

I agree about the armor all on the tires I tried it with some HX wheels I had on a civic once and even after I cleaned it all off and scuffed them up the paint still bubbled up a bit from the oil...anyways they look clean on that blue

I've painted my stock wheels several times and always use index cards to mask the tires.
It only sucks when there's a breeze outside and it blows the cards off, or worse blows them into the paint.
