????Removing Front Tire '98CBR600?????
Guys, how do you remove the front tire from a '98 CBR600? I removed the bolt from the left side but I can't figure out how to get the axle out. Also, how do I pivot the brake calipers out of the way (like the rear) and do I need to loosen the clamps on the bottom of the forks?
Thanks!

I am assuming you have the front end on a stand or properly supported.........
You will need to loosen the pinch bolts on the bottom of the forks, i believe they are 10 or 12mm. Loosen and remove the 2 bolts on each fork that hold the brake caliper in place, and move the calipers away from the wheel and secure them with a zip tie so they dont scratch anything (Rim or bodywork)
On the opposite side of the axle there is a hole drilled into it, take a phillips screwdriver and place it through the hole that goes through the axle, rotate the axle and apply pressure on the screwdriver and it will start to come out.
If it is not, you can take the large bolt, screw it in half way, take a rubber mallat and tap gently on it. Since the axle and bolt are steel i doubt it would strip the threads, but needless to say make sure you have it threaded in more than 2 turns........
I have had the rims on/off my cbr multiple times, and this has worked for me each time. Good luck.
