howling when i turn
Every time i trun my car makes this weird whining sound, and i noticed that my steering is kinda jumpy when i get in it in the morning, by that i mean i can feel it like almost grabbing. Is it the power steering pump? or do i have a bigger problem. I pulled the front tires off and checked the half shafts they are tight. i also tried to move the tire up and down with the car jacked up and it has no movement that way so i assuming its not a wheel bearing.
the tires will only move if the hub is very bad, not all signs will show up that way. when the axle nut is tight, your hub is tight, if you wanna be sure, lose the axle nut and then move the wheel, you'll see the differents if it's bad. gl
the 90-93 accord had issues of the power steering hose check valve that did not stay seated in the hose and is shifted and will make a odd whine noise and may cause some pulsation in the steering wheel.
their is a couple of other things also the rack linkage can also be causing a noise back in the day their was a s/b for it and they had us spraying honda silicone spray on the steering shaft and it took care of the noise. i have some s/b's if you want drop me a email and i will end them to you.

where is the check valve located?? Pressure or Return line? im assuming pressure but i dont want to pull the wrong one although it probably wouldn't matter.
