ARGH!!! stupid rain!!! stupid eg hatch!!! stupid leaks!!!
got a leak in the rear of my 93 hatch that I absolutely CANNOT find. what are the common places to look?? I've already checked out all of the rear weatherstripping and its not there. I cant see any leaks from the ceiling but yet, the rear hatch carpet is wet. I pulled the quarter panels up a little and honestly cant tell where it's coming from.
could it be a tail light?? or something really goofy?? no sunroof so I dont think I could have water traveling from front to back or anything??

is the title clean if its a rebuild then it was probably rebulit around that area and needs to be fixed...
nope, never wrecked. though I did have it torn down to a shell at one point. maybe something isnt sealing correctly, I dont know.
I'm just wanting to know for when the rain FINALLY stops, I intend to rip out all the rear interior and have a friend with a pressure washer spray all over with me inside so I can look for it but I just want to know normal spots so I make sure I get all the pertinant panels out of the car and not accidently still hide the affected area.
damn mildew smell pisses me off.

i actually had some water leak from the gutter on top of the roof. It would drip down into the trunk, i also have pretty bad rust on the rear quarter panel and when i drove in the rain, water would seep through the rusty parts into my trunk. hope that helps some
