Default New alternator....now radio is fuzzy without......

.....my fan being on atleast 3. If I turn the fan off, the radio has zero sound and lots of static. 1 there is little radio, lots of static. 2 there is more radio and little static. 3 there is radio until I get on the gas. 4 there is full radio and just a little tad bit of static if I get on the throttle.

At idle, there is no static with the fan or any other load on the alt. It is a brand new reman from CSK.

I checked most of the grounds, and they are all good. My tech and I checked the amperage before I left work last night, and it was around 13.19 at idle.

Anyone have any ideas??? Oh, also, I installed an Optima Red Top battery too.

Its gotta be either a bad ground or not enough power going to the deck.

x2 on the bad ground. as well i hope it was your voltage that was at 13.19 and not your amperage.

if i remember correctly in electrical, the charging system and the ignition system causes radio interference. try returning the reman alternator for another one.
