b16 swap

Default b16 swap

i just found a good deal on a complete b16a3 and trans but i was wondering if i can still keep it obd-0? its goin into an 89 crx dx.

A B16A3 is an obd-1 motor. so you could either convert the motor to obd-0 to match up your crx or change up your crx to accomadate for obd-1. both are pretty straight forward. Tons of info on all of this in the swap section.

sorry what i ment was the motor is from an 2000 civic si, i though it was an a3 but i was wrong. im just wondering if the sensors are way different where i cant just swap the plugs from the b16 to my current engine harness.

it uses the same plugs as a obd1 b16a some of your plugs will fit and most the the sensors i think only the distributor plug is the onyl one u gotta change i got my b16a as obd1 then converted it to obd2 for a 99 civic ex and now put it back 2 obd1 in my crx

i think im just gonnna keep it obd1. thanks for all the info guys. oh and one other thing, do i have to get the rear engine mount bracket cus its a hydro trans?
