ok im new to 4th gen preludes and the one i have is currently throwing a CEL, but only when the car is started. I tried hooking up a snap on scan tool but it says there are no codes...i know in civics and integras i could just stick a piece of wire in the connector on the passenger side and read the flashing light...can i do the same with the prelude? pics of the connector

ok thanks alot...1 more question......according to that link there are supposed to be 2 connectors, a 2 pin and a 3 pin...am I right?

 

You are only looking for the blue connector. Don't jump any other one. You are in the right area, you just have the wrong connector in that pic.
