Honda Civic Type S DIESEL
Honda has recently introduced their own diesel and any diesel offered previously (2004) have been another companies engine.

If by "condumes less", you mean "consumes less [fuel]", then yes, diesel engines typically get far superior MPG ratings than gasoline engines.

Honda will offer the diesel civic in Canada for sure in the next couple of years. They are currently testing one in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia Canada .They have a durability testing facility there and a silver civic diesel has been seen around town numerous times. It is the euro body style like the one in the ebay link, it isn't a type s, it's just a base model.
Here is a picture one of the guys from a forum I frequent took.

It'd be like the ep3 Si's. But hopefully instead of an a3 replace it with a z3.

Tell me about it. I tell my girlfriend everyday "I can't wait until your wreck your car, I'm going to gut every piece I can from it" (She has an '06 Si)

this one looks 100x better than the ep though. i'd definitely take this style over the current si.
