Default EP3 TIRES AND RIMS

Hi,
i have a question about tires and rims.

my ep3 as lower suspension and my summer tires i got right now just fits perfectly if they bigger its gonna hit the fenders up front.
this is the size of my tires right now : 195/65/15R there not low profile !!

my question is do you think theses tires size which are low profile would fit 205/40ZR/17 or 225/40ZR/18

I WANNA KNOW IF THEY ARE BIGGER OR SMALLER THEN THE TIRES I HAVE ??

imo and most of ther people on HT 17" and 18" rims don't look that great on ep's and they will have rubbing issues. idk if you can even put 18" rims on a an ep or why u would want to

18's probably will not fit, 17's will fit but you will need to roll the fenders or you will have rubbing issues

they a a bit wider, but the side wall should be smaller dont put 18s on it the 17s might fit but u might have to roll ur fenders

17s actually don't look too bad on the EP3s.... however 18 is definately a bit large haha

I think my stock 16's look tiny

Just lower the vehicle a bit to eliminate the gap between the top of the tire and the fender. You can also get lower profile tires to make up even more space.

The middle numbers is the height of the tire. Those tires are both 40% of the width of the tire. So 8.2cm (3.2in) tall for the 17 inch and 9.0cm (3.5in) for the 18 inch.

Your current tire is 12.6cm (5in) tall.

Not only will 18s not fit, look hideous, etc but with such a low profile tire, you risk denting those bawlin' azz rims on potholes.

I HAD 17's on mine with low pros. You will more tha likely get some fender rub and a slightly rougher ride than if you just went with some 16's with a little meatier tires. I would recommend going with 16's, but it's your car so it's really up to you.

Here's my old 17's

And now with the 16's, I still got pretty low pros on these though

Mind you the Type-R came with 17's... still I think the 16's is the best option...

Eitherway 18's are too big and will cause you problems down the road but its your car and it will be your problem and will be the ones telling you we told you so lol...

the stock rotors look tiny because they are tiny...my TypeS rotors look gigantic with my 16s...which look small on the car its not a small car its sort of inbetween small and medium. The mugen si comes with 18s i dont see 18s being all that bad maybe its more of ur offsets being wrong and low quality suspension parts? I would say 17s are just right like stated b4 the EP3R comes with 17s
