Some background: 91 Si with a y8head/z6block swap, original trans.

I've been working to get me CRX running for the Honda-Tech meet here in Ohio and I'm stumped on this one. When the car is in gear and I crank it over it jumps or walks forward with the cranking like the clutch isn't disengaged. Its fine when in neutral, and will roll when the clutch is disengaged. What could cause this problem??


EDIT: The clutch is disengaged when cranking.

well for one it will always just when you start it in gear and not jump in neutral. But you say that it will do it when its disengaged so that leads me to think that you need to adjust the cable.
