i have a solid check engine light on... new ecu same problem... it was in limp mode before now it runs fine... but because the light i have no vtec.. everyone is telling me to "jump" the harness. and i am not sure how to do that.

i hooked up the scanner and i have no power at the data link connector.. so i do need to jump it to get the codes out...

can someone guide me how to do this??

the engine light is on solid. no blinks.. my ecu does not have a light in the middle either. its a p28.
