Default crxriders 96 four door civic

i bought this car this past march, the original owner who started to build the car is on here, eghatch4sale. for 3200 i couldnt turn down the opertunity to own a four door so i could haul the kids around and take the family places.

so here is what was done to the car when i got it.....

Engine: LS swap, oem mounts, AEM intake, new clutch, new flywheel, dc header, megan cat back

Suspension: Koni Full coilovers with progressive wound springs. stealies pictured . skunk2 adjustable upper control arms. fully corner weighted and balanced.

Exterior: 99-00 front end, rear end. 99-00 mirrors. s2000 grand prix white.

Interior: dolphin face cd player, gsr tan leather front seats, leather rear seats. Integra shift ****. crv gauge cluster.

here is how it looked when i picked it up.

and the real reason i orriginally bought the car

so the day i took delivery i rebuilt the koni struts, new brakes, tune up and oil chage.

and here is where it started i picked up a greddy front lip.

then we had a late snow storm and between hitting an f150 exhaust and the snow the greddy lip had seen better days.

and the car got stuck outside because the cobra was getting a tranny.

so after trying to decide on wheels i ended up throwing on the wheels from the crx(i hope soon to order a set of buddy clubs with a +38 offset)

the next day my fogs showed up and went to a meet and ended up going to take pictures with fast car fred and his brother b16b_coupe.

the next day my new front lip showed up, dont worry its temporary untill my si lip comes in.

then i added a pwjdm power chamber and started to clean up the bay.

then i went through a i wish it was still 2002 phase and put decals on the car which was stupid.

so while i was going through that phase i started working on cleaning up the bay, pulling the ac and looping the power steering which i need to finish still lol.

some random pics i took

with my old crx

so i decided since my stock hood had a dent that i would just go ahead and get a carbon fiber hood from vis. however i am planning on paint matching it.

finally got off my butt and finished pulling the ac hard lines and tucked some more wires

thanks and hold on i will get there.

so then i ordered a strut and tie bar set from a buddy of mine, circuit hero shifter extender and mugen shift ****.

then i built my own catch can because i am having a hard time finding an inline breather so i can loop my power steering the right way, if anyone can tell me where to find one i would appreciate it.

then i relocated the rad overflow bottle.

took some pics.

then i decided that the lip and side skirts should be trim black.

and then took a trip to import alliance.

so i got back from import alliance a pulled all the decals off.

and then i put on my import alliance decal lol.

only decal on the car now.

so then i got a set of oem tan floor mats with the holding tab for twenty bucks

i have more updated pics of other things i have done just need to quit being lazy and upload them.

so far i have added:
pwjdm intake
started wire tucking/ cleaning up the bay
tucked the foglight harness
added wheels
rubuilt the struts
tune up
new brakes all the way around
pwjdm resevior covers
mugen shift ****
circuit hero shifter extender
optional den and cupholders with working lid(had a tape deck and broken cupholder lid)
depo fog lights
mugen replica lip
oem floor mats
vis carbon fiber hood
strut bars and tie bars
added decals
removed decals
pulled the ac
pulled the power steering pump
pulled the windshield washer tank, pump, lines and wiring
hid the rad overflow bottle
pulled all ac hard lines

there are other things i am probably missing and need to upload the updated pics.

my future plans include:
si front lip(on its way)
buddy club wheels
better coilovers
better brake set up
boost
skunk2 lca's
asr subframe brace
st sway bars
four point cage with harness bar
buddy club buckets
nrg quick release
personal steering wheel
full respray
body work
re-do the interior
some sort of harnesses and other things.

i also understand that not everyone will like what i do but be respectful in your comments is all i can ask.

also progress will be slow due to the fact i injured myself at work and cannot turn a wrench or lift things at the moment, honestly i have some really great friends who were willing to help along the way and i cant say thank you enough. thanks for looking.

Keep working it. Until this thread I never knew that car used to be cypress green. The interior color thru up the first flag, and then I finally saw a bit of green in the engine bay. Did someone before you paint the car white originally? When you say your going rework the interior, what do you mean? You going to give the taupe a try? You know all the White 8th Gen Ferios come with Taupe interior now right? It's actually a nice color if you put some love into it.

yeah eghatch4sale painted the car white. with the interior i am just planing on replacing the headliner, carpet, and i am planning a four point cage, some sort of race buckets, new sterring wheel. new head unit and new speakers. i need to start on the body work and finish the wire tuck. we have another car to haul the kids so now i really get to dive into it this winter. oh and paint the bay.

thanks for checking it out man, any other sugestions you have just let me know, always open for suggestions and opinions.
