I have a b16a2 out off a 99 civic si. well I had a issue with the pulley seperated from the actuall balancer. the pulley part walked off until it hit the frame an couldnt go any farther.

So my question is what balancers are interchangable? My buddy has an unorthradox racing pulley but I have heard bad things about them.

any insight is welcome.

 

just get another balancer for your year model. and yes unorthodox sucks becuase they are not balanced for your engine. and will eat bearings.

 

Yeah I heard they tend to make cyliner 3 bearing spin. Are the b-series crank pulley interchangable?

 

 

get any b series balancer they all fit or go with the ctr n1 pulley made by honda if you have no acc costs probly less than the stock one and improves acceleration had mine on for 6 months love it not a bit of vibration in my engine still
