Default Coverting to Manual??

Is the F22 tranny a direct fit? And is it true that its better than the H22s with longer gears? What else would I need for this process besides the tranny, shift linkage, and pedal?

it will fit but the gearing is NOT good for the high revving H22. The H23 transmission is good though if you cannot find a H22 trans.

h23 is probably better for turbo... not as short gears like the h22 but its strong enough for turbo.

yeah yeah just thinking about it ain't gonna work. I had a 93 Accord with H22 and F22 trans. Unless you just want top end and very slow acceleration I would not get it. If you turbo later then try something else. I think H23 trans is best for everyday. It has short enough gears to keep the H22 in its powerband. Some will argue that it falls out of VTEC when shifting, those people need to learn to drive better. I have been rolling this setup for 3 years and would not change it.
