Default drivers door (help)

hello all i have a problem with my door, i had a dent removed about a month ago and they needed to take the door off, i had a good look today and it don't line up you no the outside rubber strip what goes along the middle of the door is out about half a inch, so when i looked down the side of the car i can see its sticking out more then the N/S side could anyone help. Or should i take it to a body shop and they can reline it again or is it easy to do my self.

You can align it yourself, it is just a matter of playing with it, I wouldn't take it to a shop. No sense in waisting your money for 15min of your own time. Take out your wheel well and youll see the doors mounting points, See which direction the door needs to move and move it, Work slow though so you don't damage anything.

Although I suppose you could take it to whomever did the body work and they should fix it for free.

the guys what done the work have closed down, what about the four bolts from the inside of the door two at the bottom and two at the top. the only problem is that the rubber strip is sticking out more then the other side what runs along the bottom of the window.

thanks again jay

You can do it yourself since that shop has closed. Have a few friends hold the door in place while you untighten the screws and start adjusting from there. Just be patient with it.
