Ive been contemplating what i want to do with my motor...im burning a considerable amount of oil because my rings are shot... ... so im going to re-build when i put her away for the winter...i have a B16 block with a JDM B16 head ported and polished....Im considering boring out my block to 81.25mm for the oversized CTR pistons, putting either CTR Cams or another reliable Cam setup,and either CTR Valve train or another reliable setup...I want to make as much power as possible obviously, but i want to be reliable enough for a daily driver.... I have 310cc injectors, AEBS intake manifold, Type R Throttle Body, VAFC-2, AEM Fuel Rail, and other misc. goodies..i will be putting in FPR as well.... give me some ideas on what YOU would do if this was your setup and were trying to make most WHP...after all is complete i will be taking to local shop for professional Dyno tune....any input helps...thanks

 

ls-vtec but no CTR pistons

 

take the block off and do b20 vtec... stuff it with pistons, rods and arp rod bolts then slap that head on baby... need to get rid of that 1.6 liter!!!

 

hmmmm nice idea...i like what im hearing already!!

 

although i said i want reliable!!! both the LS-vtec and B20 WERE NOT made for VTEC....so either way you look at it, its not going to be as reliable as other setups....
