Default CRV Throdle sensor issues

I have heard a fair amount of CRV owners having issues with a $1,000 throdle sensor in the CR-V's. Can anyone shed light on this issue and what years are affected? I want one bad but.

On every Honda built for America the TPS sensor is part of the throttle body. That price might be for parts and labor for replacement, but still that's a very high price.

So TPS issues are for all 2.4 fours made in America. Could be in a Accord, CR-V, element etc? I though all CR-v's were made in Japan or England?

I mean any Honda that is made for the US market. Regardless of it's actual production location. Every once in a while I see one go bad. But it's not a very common issue at all. It was more common on the 02-05 civic models.

What is the best way to keep this issue at bay. 15,000 mile TB cleaner use?

The TPS sensor is the same.
Nothing is going to keep the TPS sensor alive longer. It's a sealed unit.
