You have extra sensors or connectors?

The only extra connector I had on my B18b1 in an EK was the VTEC pressure switch connector.

Does the B20b have KS? How about a CFK sensor? Those may be some of the extras.

Don't forget that the power steering pressure sensor is on the Si engine harness as well. If the engine is out of the car, that might another one of your extras.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by teamrpm2 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">well i havent tried starting it yet cuz i have one connector thats right behind the fuel injectors that dont connect two big plugs in the back by the bottom of the block two other connectors and then like 3 more by the tranny so i have like 9 connecting to nothing and it dont seem like they connect to anything else but i havent yet to try to start it</TD></TR></TABLE>

Plug by the connectors is for the EVAP solenoid. The easy way to connect it is to extend the wires. The nice way is to strip the wrap off the bundle, pull the EVAP plug out, re-wrap both wire sets.

(2) big plugs aren't plugs. They're just terminators.

I'll guarantee you the (2) other plugs you cite are PS pressure sensor and either KS or primary o2. (I don't think B20b has a KS)

By tranny, the only extra plug you'll have is VTEC. Is the oil pressure sensor connected? Coolant temp? VSS? Reverse light? Have you made all the connections on the TB?

well i do have the si harness shouldnt it be just plug and play im pretty sure. where is the evap solenoid connected the inside of the connector is blue i have two that are like that.

so i just leave the terminators alone the

ok yeah im pretty sure is the primary o2 sensor but since im running obd1 ecu it should read it am i correct??

well i have all those connected but theres still 3 connectors loose i know one is the vtec one but then i have 2 more left theres one that goes by da firewall on top of the filtech thing but i cant seem to be able to use any of the loose connectors for that

I think the only difference between the Si harness and EX harness is the dizzy plug. Not plug and play though.

Again, I'm not 100% sure on the finer details of a B20b, but on my B18b1, the EVAP is on top of the intake manifold.

Yes, you'll need to connect primary o2 for OBD1. Since the the secondard o2 is wired into the cabin harness, it'll just be there when you need to get BAR'd.

Is one of your spare connectors the IAT that connects to the intake tube? You've got the TPS, MAP and IACV all connected?

yea its true the only thing that changes is the dizzy plug

ok yeah well i think mines is on the runners of the intake manifold on the side kinda

ok yea thanks i remeber i heard u didnt but i guess u do but i have type r headers and it has a bolt in the hole where the primary o2 sensor goes to wat would i pkug it in??

umm yeah im pretty sure then one of them is for that then i forgot all about that but i dont think u need to connect that rite....and yeah all of those are all connected to the intake manifold but ima try to start it and see wat happens thanks for all the help

yeah leave them unplugged. you might need them when you go b20 vtec like the vtec solenoid. also your gonna have to convert the distributor plugs for an obd2b one. being b20b it must be obd2a. and you need to use a obd2b ecu or get a ecu harness that converts obd2b to obd2a or obd1 depending on ecu.

you can manually check them by looking under your passenger side where the ecu lives.. theres gonna be a 2 wire plug that goes to nothing. its usually connected onto a plastic green thingy. I believe the wire colors are brown and black. what you do is you take a paper clip or make a jumper wire and jump those two together. then you turn your car on but dont start it. your check engine lights should be flashing and then you need to write down the codes. a long flash is 10 and a short flash is 1. So lets say it flashes 2 long ones and 1 short one. then it would be 21. which is vtec solenoid. hope this helps.

well the cars fine but my only problem is in the morning wen i wanna start it it doesnt start rite away. it feels like too much fuel is goin through so i gas it and it pops in my air intake. one sensor that is rite behind the fuel injectors is not plugged in im sure thats my EVAP i heard u have to change the sensor thats on the runners of the intake manifold from a newer 96-00 integra dont know if im rite im sure i dont have my IAT sensor connected which goes on the intake tube dont know if that may be the problem that it does that.. any help appreciated thanks
