First upgrades for my civic si, i need some suggestions etc.
I have a 06 civic si and i have yet to upgrade it. I am thinking best bang for my buck etc. would be a cold air intake and exhaust. Any suggestions on what else might be a good way to go and also what kinds. I am a complete noob.
eibach pro-kit!
it's a nice suspension upgrade you can install and not have to worry about anything other than more fun driving.

I would suggest looking through this forum and reading all the other existing threads that are the exact same as this one you have just created.
Then. if i still had questions Id make a thread about it.

i say improve your handling!!! so getting a spring+shock combo would be the best bang for the buck. most of the coilovers that are out right now, been getting mixed reviews. i already have pro kits, and im about to get the tokico blues.

So this is what i am thinking for my first upgrades. I was thinking first and foremost a K&N cold air intake. After that maybe either a new exhaust or getting the new reflash that makes the vtech kick in sooner. Then maybe some new rims and some suspension work.
Any tips etc.?

K&N does not make a cold air intake for the new civic. However, it looks like the heat shield that comes with their short ram intake links up to the lower part of the stock intake. This makes it almost a cold air intake.

Again, which aspect of the car would you like to improve? Engine performance or handling? If it's horsepower you're looking for (which it seems like it is), then a cold air intake seems like it would be a smart choice.

Yeah i think performance for now. Cold air intake would be the first thing i should go for correct? I have the 06 civic si, any suggestions on a good one that will give me a the best performance etc. ?
Do they make a chip for my model?

Any CAI will do. They all preety much perform the same. It just depends if you want name brand or not. A lot of guys are running the AEM cai. I would try and get it used and save a few dollars. As far as "chip" the only thing out there right now is An ECU reflash by Hondata. Check it out here... http://www.hondata.com/reflash_06_civicsi.html

Dude, you just creating another thread, saying you are about to install it, meaning you haven't even tried it yet. Why would you recommend it, when you personally haven't used it? BTW (OP), don't buy that POS. Everyone I know that has bought it has been grossly disappointed in it's performance, and the amount of vibration it brings into the cabin of the car. If all you're ever going to do is drag race, maybe get the ETD, but otherwise, get the eibachs!
