Wheel hop + broke mount?
Ok so i just did some work to my vtec controller and went out on a road to test it out with a couple buddys in the car... As soon as im taking off the left wheel starts to wheel hop pretty bad then all the sudden my carbon fiber hook bounces up like 3-5 inches my gear gets thrown in nuetral and its all crazy.
Whats this look like to you.
And why is it all wet?

In for info, I have bad wheel hop sometimes when I launch too. I know you're supposed to put window filler in them mounts but I'm not sure where to put it and how much.
Its the oil from the inside of your mount...nothing big...it will eventually tear more.
Mine did this cause i had stock mounts with my Ls eg. Got some hasport mounts and all is good.
Sounds like you had some insane wheel hop.
Is your camber/alignment off really bad?

pics of the whole car please=] I'm really interested in it.
Smell it and find out what it is.
the window filler thing, you just fill up the extra spots in the thing with filler, thats all you do and wait for it to cure.

Im not sure about my camber but alignment seems good.
Never knew there was oil in those things... when you change it is there special steps you have to take to do it? I will prolly head to the junk yard for now.
BTW wheel hop was bad only on one side... driver side and its always the wheel that spins its terrible!

Umm I am not a pro on the subject but it sounds like your engine mount(s) might be toast.
It all depends on what kind of engine is in there and whether or not it's boosted, but keep in mind that Honda torque mounts are crap. They usually tear up almost right away. On mine (N/A B16A) I put in urethane torque mounts (left and right only) That made a big diff for me. But in all honesty the thing that eliminated it completely was upgrading my suspension. I went full Tein SS (Springs, Struts and new mounts)
Tell us what you are running as far and engine + mods, and specify what is getting wet when she jumps around and maybe someone else will have a better answer.

That's a liquid filled mount and is obviously bad now- very common on these cars.
Your best bet is getting a new mount and going with Energy Suspension Inserts. Most cost effective way to stabilize the engine.
