Default Warp Rotors Help

I have a 1994 Accord EX, 100% Stock

Every time I've change out the Rotor and Pad with no name brand one from my local Pep Boys they warp after 9000 miles or so.

Would OEM or Brembo blanks Rotors warp as well ????

or would it be my Pads ?

Any help is appreciated...

Click here and give this article a read.

I guess even cheap pads and rotors can last if broken in / embedded properly.

I don't know if this is your problem, but even the best rotors will warp if there is air in the brake line at all. If there's air in there it won't compress evenly and will warp your rotors. If you're having this problem bleed your whole system really well and see if that helps.

I did do this with my cheap rotors and pads, but it still warps after 9000 miles..

Maybe you have excessive runout in one of your hubs. Runout under .006" or so doesn't directly cause a brake pulsation. What happens with excessive runout is eventually the rotors wears faster on the high spots, causing excessive thickness variation (parallelism). 9K miles is about right, if this is the root cause of your problem.

I recommend machining your rotors with an on-the-car lathe. This will eliminate runout in your rotor/hub assembly.
