Default D16A1 MOTOR ON A SI TRANNY QUESTION

Me and my buddy are doin a swap to my CRX. The motor is out of a 88 integra, it is a D16A1DOHC, and i was wondering if my Si tranny would fit to that motor. Any replies would be helpfull THANK YOU! OOO And also would my D16A6 ECU work for that motor too?

Yes, did the swap with a jdm dohc zc, and a 91 si tranny. The pm6 will run the engine, but a pm7 or a pg7 would be alittle better, little higher redline, and better fuel map.

The integra motor is not the same as the DOHC ZC....not at all the same engine.

OP, you are going to run into problems trying to put that in a 2nd gen crx.
