Default Removal of 96 Shifter ****

I have a stock shifter **** on my Honda, and I was wondering how to remove it. I search for any clips, pins, and screws. to no avail of course.

Assuming you are referring to a manual car...

-Pull the shift boot down to unclip it from the shift **** base
-Turn the **** counterclockwise to loosen it
