First off....will the toyo T1 195/45/vr14 fit on my 95 ex 14' rim? Secondly i want to know if it is worth it? (100$ a piece) Thirdly..what other options do i have? 95 ej dropped 2.75 ff 2.50 rr.....anything bigger as far as rims go would pretty much be out of the question!

I was gonna do a tire shoot out between 195/50-15 tires, Toyo T1-S and Bridgestone S-03. Unfortunately, one of the S-03s wouldn't mount on an Si rim, so I couldn't do the test at Buttonwillow during Hybrid Track Day 3.

I ran on the Toyos, and they didn't seem as stable as the FZ4s (the tire I had previously). The grip was a tad more, but there's lots of squirm due to the amount of voids in the tread. If the tires were halfway worn, they'd probably feel better. At 32psi, they have so much turn in lag, at 42psi, they are a tad better. I want to try these out on a soaking wet road course, but I'll have to wait a few months...

Yep, I have had different types of tires before. The T1's takes the cake for the best overall street tire I've tried.

However, a track tire is a different story. I've suggest investn' in some Advans for off-road use.

I know some guys in STS used T1S for the street tire class and Speed World Challenge series drivers have to use these tires too.

The guys I talked to said they were pretty good tires, but wore fairly quickly, but these guys have crazy alignment settings.

I've used Yokohama A520s, Kumho 712s, and Falken Azenis and nothing beats the Azenis for price and grip. I'm planning on trying BFG g-force TA KDs when my Azenis wear out.

y0, Dood, I tested the Kumho MX against the KD`s last weekend and they were neck and neck in dry and wet. Compare the price . I can show you laptimes and skid pad numbers, too.
