Does anyone know if the brembo brakes on the TL type S a direct swap for those on an 08 accord. Its the v6 6sp coupe if that makes any difference.

 

There seems to be a lot of speculation that they will fit... but no one has tried them on the cs2 chassis as yet. I keep getting out bid on used TL TYPE S calipers on ebay otherwise I would have taken a look at this already. If you are looking at buying them new from the dealer there may be better alternatives as the OEM brembos are way over priced and rotor replacements will be in the 350-600 range

Frankly, Dispite the drawings never being 100% correct, I dont see any reason NOT to try this if someone is interested in doing so. The mounting is fairly industry standardized 5"-5.25"...

Ive seen them type S parts being offered at junk yards but a lot of the junk yards don't want to sell the brakes. They say its a big liability issue.
