Ok couple of q's here for this swap that i'm doing.

I have a fully running (w a blown HG) D15B in an 89 hatch. that's all that's stamped on the motor.
going to a d16z6 from a 95 civic hb, that's going into annother 89 hatch that i have

my q's are:

can i use my ac stuff from the d15 on the d16?

I have the alternator bracket for the d16, but are those parts swapable?

Waterpump - there's a new one one the d15, can i swap that?

and most importantly, wiring harness: if i bought a harness and ecu for the d16, would i have to still chop and splice, or could i use the whole engine harness?

the harness that's got the ecu plugs on one end that goes from the cabin to the engine bay is one harness, and the harness that goes from the engine is called the engine sub harness right?

everything will swap over.. as long as you have a mpfi setup you dont need to change the harness. if its a d15b its vtec and everything is plug and play.

 

well that's just it's a dpfi and a non vtech head.... as far as i know this engine insn't the origonal... aw heck as far as i know none of the front end is origonal.
