Default Will these tires fit?

Just got a set of rims and the tires are 215/45/16. Normally I would think so since the ones on there are 205/55/15 IIRC, but the ones on there look really close to the fender as it is and I'm worried about them rubbing. Also the car is really low to the ground, pretty much zero wheel gap.

if the car is that low then those tires will definitely rub.

I have these tires on my R (stock tires). My car is stock height but doesn't rub when I turn the wheel.

you sure your tires are 215's, not 205's? also, the reason the op's tires will rub is because his car is lowered. the rubbing will happen on bumps.

Yes. Stock JDM tires are 215/45/16.

mmm so mine will rub. How should I avoid this? Should I just put smaller tires on the front? I know that will look dumb, but I got them on a trade and 2 tires need to be replaced and 2 look good.

the rear tires will probably rub too. i made the mistake of getting 215's on my 96 civic back in the day, not doing that again. the rubbing got pretty annoying.
